Jan Matter

I am a Master’s student in Computer Science at ETH Zurich, majoring in Data Management Systems with a minor in Machine Learning.

During my studies, I developed a strong interest in Cloud, Infrastructure, Networking, and Security, which led to my Master’s thesis under the supervision of Dr. Muoi Tran and Professor Laurent Vanbever. For my thesis, I had the opportunity to work on routing attacks within the InterPlanetary File System (IPFS) network. This included a one-month stay at Secura Lab, where I closely collaborated with Dr. Tran on a research paper based on the findings of my thesis.
